Freedomland 3000
Synopsis: As video games begins to meld with other forms of entertainment such as movies and music, the latest crossover. This movement has brought about the latest crossover between video games and German Art Film. This is an interview with the trailblazing creators of the German Art Open World First Person Shooter (GAOWFPS) game called, Freedomland 3000.
Production Notes: We originally shot this for a contest that was running on a video game website where you had to make a funny video related to video games. I had a silly idea about a German Art Film director breaking into the video game industry. I got to play the German Film director, Billy played assistant/producer Fabrizio and David played Don Trotter, the interviewer/gaming journalist, Don Trotter. We set up two cameras and basically I gave David some questions to ask and improved it from there. It was fun, silly and probably some of the most set design work ever!
